The Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) Annual Conference is the leading continuing education event for the Australian veterinary profession. The four day scientific program is supported by the largest veterinary trade display in the country, and each year it attracts the biggest gathering of veterinary professionals in Australia.

The Conference is held in May in a different state capital city each year.  The extensive social program includes a Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner, Special Interest Group dinners and Happy Hours. The conference is also the home of the AVA’s Annual General Meeting.

The AVA Annual Conference offers delegates the opportunity to network with friends and colleagues, update skills with practical and leading edge scientific information across the full range of veterinary activities and visit a comprehensive industry exhibition with displays of the latest equipment and technology.

In 2010, the AVA Annual Conference will be combined with the New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) Conference, to create the Pan Pacific Veterinary Conference. The Pan Pacific Veterinary Conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, 23-28 May 2010.

The Pan Pacific conference offers delegates and exhibitors the chance to further expand their networking circles, exhibit and view an even greater variety of products and services and learn from the experiences and expertise of our neighbours.
